The government-owned Kuwait Public Transport Company was founded in 1962 and now provides bus services for the entire country.
It operates 24 hours a day on about 50 different routes in addition to services to educational institutions and employees in government authorities.
The company rents all means of transport in or out of Kuwait. It may also share any corporation performing similar works of transportation on Kuwait and abroad.
It provides marine transportation of individuals, vehicles and goods from and to Failaka islands. Its services include providing transport to both Kuwaitis and residents heading for Hajj and Omra in addition to hire services for the owners of Hajj and Omra caravans.
The company organizes road trips between Kuwait and some Arab countries.
